The project has a projected budget of $1,250,000, of which the SID is paying for $900,000. Friends of the Prairies hopes to raise $350k from private donors to cover the remaining budget. To be clear, ZERO dollars in the construction of this park will be coming from the HOA, dues, or capital assessments to residents.
The Play Meadow will become a centerpiece to our neighborhood and serve as a gathering place for events and activities. With integrated play structures, open green space, walking paths, and community swings, our park will become the backdrop for countless memories. We believe The park strengthens the identity of The Prairies neighborhood and will be the heart of our community by providing a safe, enjoyable haven for families and neighbors to come together.
We need the community's help meeting the fundraising required to complete the park. Today, we have $45,000 remaining to meet our goal of $350,000 from private donors.
We're targeting $1,000 donated from each househould in the neighborhood. Each donor of over $1,000 will be recognized in the Donor Garden in the park. We're also looking for flagship donors which will receive special recognition.
